John Dramani Mahama says he still feels bitter toward Luis Suárez for the handball that kept Ghana out of the 2010 World Cup semi-finals.
At a fundraising event at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, Mahama remembered how painful that night was and said he has never forgiven Suárez for what happened.
During extra time, Suárez blocked the ball with his hand on the goal line. Asamoah Gyan then missed the penalty, and Ghana eventually lost in the shootout.
Many Ghanaians share his feelings, as the 2010 loss is still remembered as one of the most painful moments in their football history.
