Ghanaian international Semenyo extends contract with Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth’s Ghanaian forward, Antoine Semenyo, has committed to a long-term contract extension until 2030.
Since joining from Bristol City in January 2023, the 25-year-old has been instrumental in Bournemouth’s historic 2024/25 Premier League campaign under Andoni Iraola.
Bournemouth’s ninth-place finish and record 56 points were boosted by Semenyo’s impressive contributions: 13 goals and 7 assists across all competitions.
Reacting to the new deal, President of Football Operations Tiago Pinto said: “Antoine has been crucial to the club’s progress and is a key member of the project here at Vitality Stadium. He has demonstrated a commitment to the club that aligns with our ambitions, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together”.
Semenyo also expressed his excitement, stating: “I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch. From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be, and I’m excited to get back and continue the hard work.”
With 89 appearances, 22 goals, and 10 assists, Semenyo has significantly contributed to Bournemouth. Bournemouth’s 2025/26 season preparations begin next week, and they expect Semenyo to rejoin the squad.
