Earlier in the match, Nick Woltemade and Florian Wirtz created chances for Germany, and Jonathan Tah missed an opportunity from close range.
Ghana played better after halftime and tied the game in the 70th minute. Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored from close range after a strong run by Derrick Köhn.
However, Deniz Undav struck in the 88th minute to put Germany back in front and seal the win. Germany in four matches, raising concerns about consistency ahead of their World Cup group-stage clashes against Panama, Croatia, and England.
