CAF wants Kwesi Appiah resign from one of his two roles before Ghana vs. Sudan game

CAF has formally notified Kwesi Appiah to resign from a role ahead of the Ghana v Sudan game.
The former Black Stars player is currently the head coach of Sudan’s national team and a member of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Certain football fans have criticized Appiah’s involvement in multiple roles and are demanding that he give up one of his positions.
CAF has instructed Appiah to resign from one of his roles in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier doubleheader.
The continent’s football governing body, CAF, states that this measure is taken to avoid any conflict of interest before the match, asserting its authority in the matter.
