The USA and Canada were practically neck and neck going into the final changeover, but in a battle between Noah Lyles and Andre De Grasse, there could only be one winner.
The USA won gold with a world-leading time of 37.29 seconds. Canada won silver, while the Netherlands took bronze with a national record, narrowly beating Ghana.
Ghana’s men’s 4x100m relay team finished fourth in the final at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, missing a historic medal by a hair.

Ibrahim Fuseini, Benjamin Azamati, Joseph Paul Amoah, and Abdul-Rasheed Saminu ran 37.93 seconds, just after the Netherlands, who won bronze at 37.81 seconds.
With Christian Coleman, Kenneth Bednarek, Courtney Lindsey, and Noah Lyles, the United States won with a world-leading 37.29s. Andre De Grasse helped Canada secure silver in a season-best time of 37.55s.
Germany (38.29s), Japan (38.35s), and France (38.58s) took the subsequent places, but Australia failed to finish.
Rose Yeboah placed 15th in the Women’s High Jump final, failing at 1.93m.
