Nearly two million tickets sold for 2026 FIFA World Cup final draw

Excitement continues to grow ahead of the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup 2026, and fans have already purchased almost 2 million tickets during the first two sales phases.
Fans from 212 countries and territories have purchased tickets, with the United States, Canada, and Mexico showing the most demand, and England, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, and France also showing strong interest.
Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, praised early purchasers and told fans that the next application period begins on December 11, right after the Final Draw in Washington, DC.
The Random Selection Draw opens on December 11 and closes on January 13. Fans can apply for single-match tickets after the full schedule’s release, based on group-stage match-ups. Eligible fans from qualified countries can apply for tickets, subject to each federation’s rules.
FIFA’s official website still lists hospitality packages available, including match tickets. FIFA advised fans to buy tickets from official sources. Tickets don’t guarantee entry. The new FIFA system for scheduling visa appointments might help fans going to the US.
