Liverpool are pondering a move for Juventus winger Chiesa

Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
Juventus manager Thiago Motta, who recently joined the Serie A side, no longer needs the 26-year-old attacker.
According to reports, Chiesa, who represented Italy in Euro 2024, has only one year left on his current contract.
His name was not included in the squad for Motta’s first league game against Como and he was also missing in Juventus’ match against Hellas Verona.
During the summer, Liverpool’s sporting director, Richard Hughes, stated that the club would take advantage of opportunities for signings if they arose.
In their process, the Reds have displayed exploratory interest in various players, with no further development regarding Chiesa.
Liverpool are getting closer to securing a deal for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, but they haven’t made any signings yet with new manager Arne Slot this summer.
An attempt was made to sign Spanish midfielder Martin Zubimendi, but he decided to remain at Real Sociedad.
In 2020, Chiesa moved to Juventus from Fiorentina for a fee that could go as high as £54m.
Although he has played 131 times for the club and was a member of Italy’s Euro 2020-winning squad, his appearances have been restricted in recent seasons due to form and injuries.
