Champions League draw: Mohammed Kudus’ Spurs will battle Thomas Partey’s Villarreal

The UEFA Champions League draw in Monaco on Thursday paired Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey against each other this season, as Tottenham Hotspur will face Villarreal.
Villareal’s trip to London will see a renewal of the rivalry between the summer transfers. When Partey played for Arsenal in England, he and Kudus had some interesting encounters.
As the two Ghana teammates look forward to the upcoming match, Spurs will also host Borussia Dortmund, Slavia Prague, and FC Copenhagen.
The English club will play Paris Saint-Germain in France, then AS Monaco. Spurs will play against Bodo/Glimt and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Meanwhile, Partey’s Villarreal will host former winners Manchester City and Ajax, while Juventus and Copenhagen will also visit.
Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen in Germany await the Yellow Submarines, as does a match against Pafos.
Partey and Kudus are both having successful starts to the season with Villarreal and Spurs.
The pair were also selected for the Black Stars team for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
