CAF president has good ambitions for Ghana – Kofi Adams

Ghana’s Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, commended CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe for his positive outlook on Ghanaian sports.
The University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra hosted the 2025 Africa School Championship, which CAF’s leadership attended over the weekend.
Following a meeting with Dr. Motsepe, Kofi Adams told Asempa FM that he thinks the South African businessman is optimistic about Ghanaian sports.
The Buem Constituency’s MP revealed the CAF president’s plea for the country to invest in grassroots sports.
“I believe apart from South Africa, where he comes from, the next country he loves is Ghana. He has good thoughts about Ghana in terms of football and beyond the game.
“Despite showing a strong interest in football, he also has an interest in other sports, which is good.”
“He encouraged us to continue investing in other grassroots sports,” he added.
After arriving in the country over the weekend, Dr. Patrice Motsepe also called on President John Mahama.
