Ghana’s U20 coach, Desmond Ofei, conceded that defeating Senegal in their 2025 CAF U20 AFCON encounter proved challenging.
On Monday night, the Black Satellites and the Young Teranga Lions clashed in their second Group C match at the U20 AFCON.
Ghana narrowly defeated their opponents thanks to Emmanuel Mensah’s lone goal in a tightly contested game.
Desmond Ofei, Ghana’s coach, conceded the game was challenging in his post-match interview.
He maintained his tactics were correct that day, leading to their win.
“The game was undoubtedly tough. “Strategically, I think we made the right decisions,” said Coach Ofei.
With Senegal defeated, Ghana must now gear up for their concluding Group C encounter with the Central African Republic.
