Karim Zito’s future is yet to be decided, according to Kotoko’s PRO

Asante Kotoko’s Communications Director, Sarfo Duku Esq., reports the club is weighing its options regarding Karim Zito.

With Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum’s departure mid-season, the Porcupine Warriors appointed the previous Dreams FC head coach as their temporary coach.

Kotoko, under Zito, secured their 10th FA Cup title with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Golden Kick.

Even with Zito’s rapid success, Sarfo Duku states the club is considering all options to address the situation.

“Events have changed; there are other options on the table. It is through our discussions that we will know which of the options will be the best for Kotoko,” he told Sporty FM.

“Given his coaching experience, he’s capable of leading us to Africa, pending management’s decision. But that will be after we’ve discussed and assessed his technical report, and then dra” he added.

Meanwhile, the departures of Frederick Asare and Michael Kyei Dwamena from Asante Kotoko have been confirmed. Justice Blay, Daniel Adrian Adjetey, Kwasi Asante, Samuel Tenadu, Fernando Bassey, and Sampson Eduku are among the other players anticipated to depart the club.
