Expect changes in the coming season – Sarfo Duku

Following their FA Cup victory under interim coach Karim Zito, Asante Kotoko’s spokesperson, Sarfo Duku, announced upcoming squad changes.
Zito replaced Prosper Narteh Ogum near the end of the campaign. Although they lost the league title, he led Kotoko to a 1-0 win over Golden Kick FC in the FA Cup final, securing their 10th title and qualification for the continent.
The team underperformed, prompting club officials to seek a new strategy. Club officials expect several players to leave, as these players will focus on their national and continental responsibilities next season.
“We are going to plan for the African campaign in terms of finances. We will soon effect changes in the team. Players who were unable to meet our expectations will be shown the exit door,” Duku told reporters.
He added, “In the next few days, some players will leave the club.”
Kotoko visited the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday to present the FA Cup trophy to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the club’s life patron.
