As part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, plans are underway to ensure a smooth experience for Ghanaian supporters traveling to the tournament.

Goldstar Consult Ltd and Rediscover Africa, supported by the Gyan Foundation, recently visited Atlantic City, New Jersey, to advance the initiative. Samuel Anim Addo and Anita Barakat lead the project, with backing from former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.

The initiative aims to organize accommodation, transportation, security, tourism activities, and other logistics so Ghanaian fans enjoy a seamless World Cup experience across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
During the visit, the team paid a courtesy call on Marty Small Sr., whose city is strategically located between Philadelphia and Boston, two venues for Ghana’s matches. The mayor welcomed the delegation and thanked them for choosing Atlantic City. He highlighted the World Cup as an opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity.

He also praised Gyan, recalling his decisive goal against the United States and commending his composure despite the disappointment as an American. Gyan presented the mayor with a signed Black Stars jersey bearing his iconic No. 3.

Samuel Anim Addo thanked the mayor for his support and hospitality toward Ghanaian fans. Anita Barakat expressed confidence in the project and assured supporters that they will be well catered for in terms of security, accommodation, and transportation.
