Marseille has completed the signing of midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham.
An obligatory buy clause of £17 million is included in the original loan deal that has been agreed upon for the 28-year-old player to join the Ligue 1 club.
At the time of his transfer from Southampton to Spurs in August 2020, Hojbjerg was a member of the Danish national team. His experience and skills were evident as he played for the Spurs 184 times.
Even though the midfielder made 39 appearances during the previous season, Ange Postecoglou favored Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr, and the player started only ten matches.
