West Ham pursue Leeds forward, Summerville

West Ham is on the verge of finalizing a deal for Leeds forward Crysencio Summerville.

To strengthen Julen Lopetegui’s squad, technical director Tim Steidten has linked with multiple players this summer at the Premier League club.

Despite this, Summerville – the Championship Player of the Year from the previous season – has become the top priority for the London club.

Talks are reportedly at an advanced stage, and it’s unlikely that there will be any problems with agreeing on personal terms with the 22-year-old.

Despite Leeds losing to Southampton in the play-off final, Dutchman Summerville scored 21 goals across all competitions last season.

Borussia Dortmund has been in talks with the Hammers regarding the potential transfer of Germany striker Niclas Fullkrug.
