Man City agree £34m deal for Lyon attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki

Manchester City and Lyon agreed a £34m deal for attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki.
They aim to complete the player’s medical and personal contract negotiations to register him for the Club World Cup.
Subbing into his debut match for France last Thursday, the midfielder scored in the thrilling 5-4 Nations League defeat against Spain.
In 44 games across all competitions last season, this 21-year-old Lyon player had 12 goals and 20 assists for his Ligue 1 team.
Lyon and the City have come to an agreement; this follows Rayan Ait Nouri’s £36.3m move from Wolves after a medical. It also comes days after the club struck a deal with AC Milan to sign Tijjani Reijnders.
Once he completes his medical, the Dutch international will sign a five-year contract with Manchester City. The club may complete the three signings before the Club World Cup.
