Liverpool have signed Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth for £40m ($54m).
The latest addition to Arne Slot’s Liverpool team is a 21-year-old defender on a five-year contract, joining recent signings Frimpong (£29.5m) and Wirtz (potentially a British record £116m).
Liverpool’s £29 million acquisition of goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia, finalized last August and effective July 1st, brings their summer transfer spending to over £200 million.

Liverpool have long admired Kerkez, a Bournemouth star who impressed last season with two goals and six assists across 38 Premier League appearances.
Last summer, Richard Hughes, Liverpool’s sporting director (formerly of Bournemouth), signed Kerkez from AZ Alkmaar for Bournemouth in 2023.
Earlier in June, Bournemouth acquired Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert for an initial £10.1m fee.
