Coach Oti Akenten backs Didi Dramani for Hearts of Oak’s job

The decision by Hearts of Oak to appoint Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as head coach is strongly supported by Francis Oti Akenteng, ex-Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association.
Negotiations are underway for the former Black Stars assistant coach to manage the Phobians, starting in the 2025/26 season.
In an Asempa FM interview, Oti Akenteng, Dramani’s ex-colleague, commended his professionalism and strong work ethic.
In his view, the club is doing the right thing in appointing the experienced former Asante Kotoko and Black Queens coach.
“Didi Dranmani is evergreen. He is always researching and learning on the job. He has enormous experience, and I believe Hearts of Oak will never regret appointing him,” Oti Akenteng said.
“He has worked at CAF, with Black Stars, and with Asante Kotoko.  He knows the work of coaching, and I sanction this decision by the Hearts of Oak hierarchy.
“I have worked with him, and I know that he will be a rightful person to coach this Hearts of Oak team,” he added.
The club’s restructuring of its technical team will likely force Aboubakar Ouattara from his position as Technical Director.
The club has established a new recruitment team to focus on signing players and enhancing the squad for the upcoming season.
