West African Football Academy qualified for the Division One League by winning the Volta Region Division Two Promotional playoff on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
At the Adaklu Youth Resource Center, a 2-1 victory for the Sogakope team secured their regional middle league title against Kpetoe Diamond FC.
Their failure to qualify last season was due to a final loss against Inter Allies.
Entering the final, Kpetoe Diamond FC secured their group’s top spot with a flawless record, while WAFA SC finished first with seven points.
Due to difficulties faced in Zone 2, WAFA is moving to Zone 3.
