Black Stars Management Committee Chairman Dr. Randy Abbey has voiced his support for Kofi Adams, the nominated Sports and Recreation Minister, confident in his capabilities.
Mr. Adams’s ministerial nomination was confirmed Tuesday as part of the third batch.
In an interview, Dr. Abbey (also a GFA Executive Council member) said Kofi Adams has the necessary skills for the ministerial position.
“I firmly believe that Kofi Adams is the right person for the role,” he told Original FM.
“He possesses excellent managerial skills, and I have no doubt he will excel in his position,” he added.
Pending Vetting Committee approval, Kofi Adams is set to succeed Mustafa Ussif as Sports Minister. Ussif has held this position since 2021 in Nana Akufo-Addo’s NPP administration.
