The squad for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers has been completed and submitted by Black Star’s head coach Otto Addo to the GFA.

Group F for the qualification stage includes Ghana, a four-time AFCON champion, along with Angola, Niger, and Sudan.

The Black Stars will begin their campaign next month, beginning with a home game against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5, and then playing away against Niger on September 9.

Addo has assembled a strong lineup for these crucial matches, consisting mainly of players based abroad and excluding those from the Ghana Premier League.

The coach’s decision shows their goal of forming a skilled and competitive team to secure early qualification for the upcoming tournament in Morocco.

With consecutive wins against Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Ghana enters these qualifiers with a strong momentum.
