Once-promising Arsenal starlet set to leave Gunners to rebuild career in Spain

Miguel Azeez is set to part ways with Arsenal in order to rebuild his career in Spain.

The 21-year-old was regarded as one of the most promising young talents to emerge from the Arsenal youth academy but has struggled with the transition to senior football.

The midfielder has spells on loan at Portsmouth, Spanish side UD Ibiza and Wigan Athletic over the last three years but has struggled to impose himself on the first-team during those stints away from north London.

Azeez’s contract with the Gunners is set to expire at the end of the season with The Athletic reporting he is now set to join Spanish outfit Atletico Baleares who play in Spain’s regionalised third-tier.
