David De Gea spurned chance for Premier League return with Nottingham Forest

David De Gea has been offered the chance to return to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, but the goalkeeper is yet to be convinced into joining a new club.

The 33-year-old left Manchester United at the end of last season when his contract expired, bringing to an end a 12-year stay at Old Trafford.

It is somewhat surprising that seven months later the Spain international is still unemployed, clearly in no rush to jump back into the game.

De Gea has been linked with a number of clubs, from Real Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain and from Newcastle to Al Shabab, but a deal has not materialised at any.
