Real Salt Lake’s Forster Ajago scored his debut MLS goal as a substitute, securing a 2-0 victory against Seattle Sounders on March 1st, 2025.
In the 68th minute, the Ghanaian international joined the Utah-based team, already ahead at America First Field.
His second goal this week, and his team’s second, came in the 79th minute, securing their CONCACAF Champions Cup knockout win.
Ajago received the ball, and then a give-and-go with Diogo Goncalves at midfield created an opening for a perfectly timed Ajago central run.
Ajago outmaneuvered his defender, thanks to Goncalves’ perfectly timed pass, and slotted the ball past the diving Frei.
Real Salt Lake went ahead in the 8th minute, thanks to an own goal.
Confusion reigned in the Seattle Sounders’ defense as Alex Katranis’s cross found Nouhou, who headed it into his net, disregarding Stefan Frei’s directions.
