Less than three weeks after completing her Olympic Games Paris 2024 competition, superstar gymnast Simone Biles has returned to the gym.
“First days back,” she posted on her Instagram story Saturday, August 24.
While Biles didn’t rule out a run at a home Olympics in four years’ time when the Games arrive in Los Angeles, the American’s quick return to training is likely as she readies for her 30-city U.S. arena tour, aptly named the Gold Over America Tour (GOAT).
The seven-time Olympic champion will headline the show in 30 cities across the country. The first stop is set for Oceanside, California, on 16 and 17 September.
In Paris, Biles won four medals, including golds in the team, all-around and vault finals. She was second on the floor exercise, putting her career Olympic medal haul at 11.
She was already the most decorated gymnast of all-time across the World Championships and Olympic Games, but her four medals moved her past Shannon Miller as the most decorated U.S. gymnast at the Olympics.

The Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour, or GOAT for short, brings an exhilarating display of mind-blowing athletic brilliance and high-energy choreography along with inspirational messages of hope, strength, resilience, and determination. Biles is the most decorated gymnast of all time.
Every tumble, twist, and gravity-defying trick will have audiences on the edge of their seat at every performance
Biles second all-around title in the French capital made her the first woman to win the crown in two, non-consecutive Games.
Vera Caslavska of the Czech Republic and Biles share second place among female gymnasts in terms of Olympic titles with seven. Only Larisa Latynina has more, with nine. The trio are the only three women to have taken two Olympic all-around wins.
