In a gesture of remorse, Mohammed Kudus, the new captain of the Black Stars, has issued an apology to Ghanaians on behalf of the team.
The apology is a response to the team’s underwhelming performance on Tuesday, which resulted in a 2-0 loss to Sudan in the AFCON qualifiers.
Mohammed Kudus, who captained the team in two games, issued this statement with humility and a sense of responsibility: “On behalf of the entire team, I would like to extend our sincerest apologies to the people of Ghana for our recent performances against Sudan in Accra and Libya.”
Mohammed Kudus reassured Ghanaians that the Black Stars are determined to improve in upcoming assignments by reflecting on their experience against Sudan.
“We want to assure Ghanaians that we commit to learning from our mistakes, regrouping, and working tirelessly to restore the Black Stars to our former glory.” We value the unwavering support and loyalty you’ve shown us, and we’re determined to make you proud once again,” Mohammed Kudus said.
The new Black Stars captain further encouraged fans to stay loyal to the team during tough times.
He highlighted the unwavering determination of the players in the Black Stars to achieve success.
