Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca praised Mohammed Kudus for his outstanding performance since joining the Premier League.
Despite the defeat, the Ghana international caught attention with a remarkable performance in West Ham’s match against the Blues.
With goals from Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer, Chelsea clinched their second consecutive victory at London Stadium.
Maresca acknowledged the talent of the 23-year-old player in his post-match comments, emphasizing their efforts on the pitch.
“West Ham have some good players. They have Lucas Paquetá and other players, but Mohammed Kudus is a brilliant footballer,” Maresca told TNT Sports.
Kudus hopes to add to his goal count for the season during West Ham’s match against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Matchday 5. The game will kick off at 14:00 GMT.
