Ghanaian footballer Alexander Djiku is set to stay with Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League until June 2029, according to reports.
The 32-year-old is expected to get better financial terms in the new deal, though the club has not made an official announcement yet.
Djiku moved to Spartak from Turkish club Fenerbahçe in the 2025 winter transfer window and has become a key part of the team’s defense.
The former Strasbourg and Bastia center-back is also an experienced player for Ghana, with 38 international appearances and four goals for the Black Stars.
Transfermarkt currently values Djiku at €6.5 million.
