Champions and standout performers in Ghana football will be rewarded with brand-new vehicles starting in the 2026/27 season following a new partnership between the Ghana Football Association and JAC Motors.

The partnership, launched Tuesday in Accra, will have JAC Motors provide luxury vehicles to winners and top performers in both the Ghana Premier League and the Women’s Premier League.

Under the agreement, the winners of the Ghana Premier League and the Women’s Premier League will each receive a new vehicle as part of their reward package.

Several individual award winners will also benefit. Players named Best Player of the Season in both leagues, along with the Coach of the Season winners, will each receive vehicles in recognition of their achievements.

The sponsorship package will include a range of JAC Motors models, including the JAC JS2, JAC JS4, and JAC JS6.

GFA Vice-President Mark Addo stated that the initiative demonstrates the Football Association’s commitment to rewarding excellence and supporting the growth of football in the country.

Chief Executive Officer of Tryton Motors Ltd, Jihad Hijazi, explained that the partnership aims to motivate players and clubs and boost the profile of Ghana football.

The collaboration forms part of the GFA’s wider strategy to attract more corporate sponsorship into domestic football and improve incentives for clubs, players, and technical personnel.
