Tamale Senior High School (Tamasco) put on a strong show to beat Ghana Senior High School (Ghanasco) 4-0 in an exciting opening match before the 2026 Honda Football Championship final at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Tamasco started strong, scoring in the first minute and putting Ghanasco on the back foot right away. They kept control in the first half, with captain Dawuda Fawzan scoring twice and Musir adding another, making it 3-0 by halftime.
Tamasco kept up their strong play after halftime, showing the same energy and attacking style. Tidow Osman scored a fourth goal, wrapping up a confident win that excited the crowd before the final.
