Asamoah Gyan anticipates an exciting Ghana vs England match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana is in Group L with England, Panama, and Croatia. The team will face England on June 23, following their opening match against Panama.
At the PUMA jersey launch in New York, Gyan acknowledged England’s strength but emphasized that Ghana’s primary objective is to advance from the group.
“On paper, England are one of the best, but Ghana vs England will be a very good game,” he said, showing confidence in his team.
Gyan recalled his goal in the 1-1 friendly draw with England in 2011 and remains optimistic about the upcoming match.
As part of their preparations, Ghana will play friendly matches against Austria and Germany.
