Senegal and DR Congo tied 1-1 in their second Group D match on Saturday at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The game became exciting after halftime, with the Leopards scoring first in the 61st minute. Cédric Bakambu pounced on a rebound, scoring after Edouard Mendy’s rare error.

Senegal answered with a goal and tied the game eight minutes later. With a composed finish, Sadio Mané equalized, ensuring the defending champions remained competitive.

Although both teams pushed late, the match ended in a tie.
