Due to rising safety concerns for its players, Nsoatreman FC has officially withdrawn from the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League.
Regretfully, in a letter to the GFA’s General Secretary on March 2025, the club explained their forced withdrawal from the competition due to recent violent events.
The club highlighted concerning incidents in games against Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Samatex FC, previously reported to the GFA.
“Recent events involving our matches with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Samatex FC, which we officially reported to your high office, forced this decision,” the statement read.
Nsoatreman FC’s management and board prioritized player safety, stating they could no longer guarantee it.
“In light of this, we can no longer guarantee the safety of our players. Therefore, management and the board of directors are left with no choice but to prioritize the safety and security of our players by withdrawing from the League,” the letter added.
The club ended its statement by apologizing for any trouble its withdrawal may cause and expressed gratitude for the GFA’s Cooperation.
