Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency Kofi Adams believes a Sports Minister must be sincere and pure-hearted to succeed.
Mr. Adams received a nomination for Minister of Sports and Recreation.
Before his nomination, the 49-year-old, holding a Bachelor of Science in Zoology specializing in parasitic disease epidemiology, stressed sincerity as crucial for a successful sports minister.
“If you approach the Sports Ministry with sincerity and a pure heart, you will succeed,” the lawmaker said on GHOne TV.
“Let’s return to grassroots sports and implement them effectively,” he added.
Kofi Adams will address infrastructure, national team funding, and tournament performance in Ghana’s sports sector.
If approved, Mr. Adams will replace Mustafa Ussif, the New Patriotic Party’s Minister of Sports from 2021 under Nana Akufo-Addo.
