Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has pledged to improve the team’s fortunes in the Ghana Premier League following a recent run of underwhelming results.
The Porcupine Warriors are on a five-game losing streak in the domestic top-flight, with four losses and a single draw.
Regional rivals Nations FC secured a 2-0 victory over Kotoko at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium over the weekend, adding to Kotoko’s struggles in the top flight.
Ogum assured a search for solutions to their difficulties in the ongoing Premier League season after the game.
“We just have to try as much as possible to find solutions to why we are unable to win. I’m sure once we are able to do that, we will be good to go, and as a coach, I need to make sure I find solutions.”
The Porcupine Warriors will face Aduana Stars in a tough match this weekend, followed by a showdown against their rivals Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians have been victorious in their last three Ghana Premier League games, displaying impressive form.
Kotoko now sits in 8th place on the Ghana Premier League table with 15 points.
